Welcome to American Canyon Engaged

We hope you will join us at our next meeting on Sunday, July 20th at 3 pm to learn more about our group and how you can be involved in making a difference.

At Meet Me in the Street events in June and July, protecting the wetlands, which provides critical habitat for wildlife, resonated strongly.  Many also shared concerns about our elected officials seeming to ignore our vote or not allowing us to vote in regards to Measures J and K in 2022 and 2024 respectively.

Measure J was a ballot initiative that failed; it would have re-zoned Green Island Vineyard to industrial and brought it from being county land into the city.  Measure K was a ballot initiative which automatically approved warehouses.  Our City Council chose to approve it, denying us the opportunity to vote on it.

We need more transparency and greater accountability from our city leaders, not less.
We need our elected representatives to truly represent our best interests at City Hall.

Please join us in being an active participant in solving the issues that affect our community.  Whether you are new or experienced in advocacy, or have more behind the scene skills like social media or graphic design, there is a place for you to get engaged with our new group.
